It only seemed fitting to highlight something international today, since I'm sitting here in the Denver airport waiting to board a flight to Frankfort and then on to Bangalore, India. This will be my first visit to India and I'm looking forward to meeting lots of Inventor users. I've remembered to pack my digital camera and will hopefully have some pictures to share.
I wanted to take a minute and highlight a recent success story we just published in the area of education. At the University of Newcastle in the UK students are reinforcing their engineering education using Autodesk inventor and are applying their knowledge and skills to the real world. Newcastle's School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering is entering the Formula One Student competition and will use Inventor to design and manufacture a single seat racing car to compete against 19 other universities.
